The senior manager is Andrew Lott!The Lighting Crew at Staples High School serves the purpose of providing lights for most, if not all, activities in the Staples High School Auditorium. If you join the lighting crew you will be expected to work on any project ranging from lighting an actual Staples Players Production to a relatively simple band concert. Any new members will be required to undergo a short training session in which each member will learn the basics of lighting maintenance, lighting application and safety. If you have any questions about anything pertaining to these skills, senior manager of lighting crew will more than likely be able to answer your questions. General Rules and Guidelines of the Lighting Crew · Be responsible at all times as lighting equipment is very expensive. If you break lighting equipment due to irresponsible behavior you will suffer the wrath of both the Senior Manager and Technical Director · Eating on the catwalk is only allowed under extreme circumstances, and by express permission of the Director or Technical Director. If you are given permission to eat on the Catwalk you must clean up all trash. If you choose not to do this, you will suffer the wrath of the both the Senior Manager and Technical Director. · Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times when working on the lighting crew, if you choose to brake this rule and subsequently suffer an injury, we will tend to your injury and then laugh at you. If the injury sustained is not serious, you will never be able to forget it! · If no more crew members are needed for any lighting tasks, we encourage you to spend your time in a productive manner on other technical crews that might be shorthanded. |
